Give {Dark Chocolate Cranberry and Pistachio Bark}

I could only make so many salads with these oven-dried cranberries.  I had an entire zip-lock bag of them on my counter.  During a bake-a-thon brainstorming session, Bree came up with this idea.  Dark chocolate mixed and topped with cranberries and pistachios.  They are tangy, crunchy, and rich.

{Dark Chocolate Cranberry & Pistachio Bark}

3 cups chopped dark chocolate

1 cup chopped raw pistachios

1 c oven-dried cranberries (or whatever you have on hand)

1-2 T white chocolate, for drizzling

coarse sea salt

———–

Roast the chopped pistachios for 5-6 minutes in the oven.  This will give them extra flavor.

Slowly melt the dark chocolate over low heat.

Slowly melt the white chocolate over low heat.

Add 1/2 of the cranberries and 1/2 of the pistachios to the melted dark chocolate.  Stir to combine. Pour mixture out on a parchment lined baking sheet.  Drizzle with white chocolate and sprinkle with the remaining cranberries and pistachios.  Sprinkle with a tiny bit of coarse sea salt.

Put the baking sheet in the freezer or fridge until firm.  Break apart to serve or package up as gifts.
