Healthy Snack {Flax Seed Crackers with Rosemary and Sunflower Seeds}

These crunchy vegan crackers are made with ground flax seed instead of flour.  When the flax seed sits in water for 15 minutes, a gummy ‘dough’ is created lending you a base to add any spices or add ins you prefer.

{Flax Seed Crackers with Rosemary and Sunflower Seeds}

1/2 c ground flax seeds

1/2 c water

1/2 t garlic salt

1 T fresh rosemary, chopped

2 T raw sunflower seeds

Add flax seed to water and allow the seeds to soak it up for 15 minutes.  Toss in your spices and seeds.

Pour the dough out on a parchment lined baking sheet and spread it out evenly with a spoon.

Bake on very low heat (200 degrees) for 45 minutes.  Using a thin spatula, turn the entire piece of dough over and bake for another 30 minutes.  Take the baking sheet out of the oven and score the dough into crackers.  Bake again for 10-15 minutes or until desired crispiness.
